Un hommage graphique à l'âge d'or du rap US qui m'a accompagné et m'accompagne toujours depuis ma tendre enfance. Cette affiche contient plus de 100 références de groupes et d'artistes emblématiques du hip-hop américain.
De DJ Kool Herc et Grand MasterFlash & The Furious Five aux big boss Dr Dre et Snoop Dogg, je l'ai souhaité la plus exhaustive possible afin d'offrir un état des lieux graphique de cette période dorée.
Ce travail d'illustration isométrique m'aura pris plus d'une centaine d'heures et largement autant de tasses de café serré, accompagné par les meilleurs sons de l'époque. Un véritable plaisir à créer, que j'ai abordé comme un challenge.
J'espère que ce projet vous plaira et provoquera en vous, comme il l'a provoqué en moi, ce doux sentiment teinté de nostalgie d'une période qui aura bouleversé l'histoire de la musique urbaine !

A graphic tribute to the golden age of US rap which has accompanied me and still accompanies me since my early childhood. This poster contains over 100 references to American hip-hop groups and artists.From DJ Kool Herc and Grand MasterFlash & The Furious Five to big bosses Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg, I wanted it to be as exhaustive as possible in order to offer a graphic overview of this golden period.This isometric illustration work took me more than a hundred hours and more than as many cups of strong coffee, accompanied by the best sounds of the time. A real pleasure to create, which I approached as a challenge.I hope that you will like this project and will provoke in you, as it did in me, this sweet feeling tinged with nostalgia for a period which changed the history of urban music !
